Ana Fernandez is a Spanish actress. She most recently played Carlota as Carlota in the Netflix series Cable Girls. Ana Kristina Gasteyer, an American actor and singer, is also a stand-up comedian. The actress became well-known for her appearance as a host in the NBC Sketch Comedy series Saturday Night Live. She has since starred in the sitcoms ABC's Suburgatory TBS's People of Earth, NBC's American Auto and the film Mean Girls. Her career began as a Northwestern University voice student, after which she switched to acting, as she was a part of the improv troupe on campus. Her enthusiasm for improv has been evident in her numerous support roles, including the incredibly manageable Sheila Shay (agent), in Lady Dynamite, as well as on the Suburgatory's Sheila Shay.
