Nicole Ari Parker is an American stage and television actor known for her performance as the fiery lawyer Teri Joseph on the Showtime series Soul Food. Following her wedding, she was Nikki Kodjoe. As a child within Baltimore, Maryland, she was always fascinated by acting.
